Sacramento – Senator Andy Vidak’s (R-Hanford) 2016 Senate Floor votes align 100 percent with the job-providing efforts of California manufacturers, according the California Manufacturers & Technology Association’s (CMTA) 2016 Manufacturing Vote Record.

"Senator Vidak clearly supports California manufacturing jobs and investment,” said CMTA President Dorothy Rothrock. “His perfect 100 percent Manufacturing Vote Record shows a level of commitment that is unsurpassed."

Each year the CMTA tracks hundreds of bills that impact manufacturing.  The 2016 Manufacturing Vote Record is a selection of bills that represent issues that CMTA members determined would have a significant impact on their operations.

According to CMTA, there are 30,000 manufacturers in California that provide 1.3 million jobs.

“I am proud to support policies that foster an environment that keeps and grows critical manufacturing jobs in our state,” said Andy.
