Vidak: Time for Mendoza to Resign

Also time for De León and Lara to stop blocking California Legislative Employee Whistleblower Act

Senator Andy Vidak (R-Hanford) issued the following statement today regarding the resignation of Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra (D-Los Angeles):

“Now that Bocanegra has finally resigned, I believe Senator Mendoza should follow in his footsteps and step down.

It’s also time for Senators Kevin De León (D-Los Angeles) and Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) to stop blocking the California Legislative Employee Whistleblower Act! The Assembly has passed this bill four times and each time it has been blocked in the Senate by Senator De León and Senator Lara.

The women in the Capitol deserve real protection and a safe working environment, not just a panel interviewing law firms.”
